Raymond McGovern's funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 6 at Church of the Transfiguration, 268 S. Broadway, Tarrytown.
Raymond McGovern served as Tarrytown Village Trustee for 18 years and inspired his children to also serve thier community. Ray Jr. (Skip) served as Village Trustee and his wife Becky currently serves onthe Village Board. Kyle is currently the Village Justice in Tarrytown.
Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, May 5 at Dwyer and Vanderbilt Funeral Home, 90 N. Broadway, Tarrytown.
